Title: Mantessa [September 23 2006]
Notes: She appears to be a very pregnant mantid that is living in the bush-thing at the entrance to our house. Shes got really pretty pink tones on her belly. We're hoping that her eggsack survives til spring and her babies eat the bugs that are trying to kill the bush! That would be incredible on so many levels. Maybe I could even find some skin-sheddings to keep with my grasshopper skin-shedding. Perfect clear replicas of the bug that it used to cover!
