First toad of the season, showed up in May in the front garden!
Rescued these two from the windowwell by the kitchen this June. We've lost a few in there in previous years so we try to keep a really sharp eye out in case any get trapped in there. The female is the bigger one, male smaller. I figure they *ahem* ended up in there at the same time.
I caught this gorgeous lighting on the female after we brought her back towards the pond. Look at her eyes!
